Majority of my therapy services are provided virtually. I’m licensed in MD and VA, which allows me to provide therapy to anyone located throughout those states. Therapy Intensives are an exception, which I offer both virtually and in-person. Please reach out me about what locations I’m able to accommodate meeting in person for Therapy Intensives.

The consultation is a chance for us to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit. It’s a time-limited conversation -- 20 minutes -- so we won’t dive deep into your full history or story just yet.
Instead, we’ll focus on what’s bringing you here, what you’re looking for in therapy, and whether my approach aligns with your needs. You can ask any questions you have, and I’ll share a bit about how I work so you can get a feel for the experience.
There’s no pressure to commit on the spot -- this is about mutual clarity and comfort. I enthusiastically encourage you to have as many consultations with potential therapists as possible.

The intake is longer than a regular session because it’s our first chance to really get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, explore important parts of your history, and start getting clear on what you’d like to work on. Having 90 minutes allows us to ease in without feeling rushed, so you have time to share at your own pace, ask questions, and begin laying the groundwork for our work together. It’s about creating a thoughtful, spacious start to your therapy journey.
-
Absolutely! It's totally normal to feel anxious, uncertain, or even resistant before starting therapy. You're not alone, and just considering therapy is already a brave step. I’m here to ease you into this new journey at your pace and comfort level.
-
Yes, sometimes a new approach, deeper focus, or different therapeutic relationship can create the shift you’re needing. We can explore what's felt helpful or frustrating in the past and build something more aligned to here-and-now.
-
That’s more common than people talk about. Therapy needs can shift over time or therapeutic relationship can stagnate. If you’re craving something different -- deeper, more relational, more culturally attuned -- that’s worth honoring.
-
Many clients come in with previous experiences that left them feeling unheard or misunderstood, some even downright harmful. We’ll move at your pace, collaborate on what works for you, and always prioritize your sense of safety and agency. I encourage you to ask many questions to gauge your fit with the therapist -- therapeutic alliance creates a strong foundation for our work together.
-
Therapy isn’t about blame -- it’s about understanding patterns, unmet needs, and relational dynamics. We’ll explore what’s happening without judgment.
-
Both! I believe in deep listening and gently offering reflections, questions, or truths you may not have seen yet. A solid, trusting therapeutic relationship is paramount, however -- we’ll build a relationship where challenge feels safe, not shaming.
-
Yes, your unique beliefs, practices, and identities are welcomed and respected here. Therapy can include any aspects of your life that feels important to you.
-
Yes, almost everything you share in therapy is kept completely confidential. This means I don’t share what you tell me with anyone—not your partner, family, employer, or anyone else—unless you give written permission.
There are a few exceptions where I’m legally and ethically required to break confidentiality to keep you or others safe. These are covered extensively in the informed consent, which you review and sign before we start any services. My goal is to create a space where you can be open, honest, and fully yourself without fear of judgment or unwanted disclosure. An ongoing dialogue about confidentiality and its limits is always welcome.
You don't have to hold it all together by yourself.
The version of you that feels clear, calm and whole is within reach.
